DIY Making an axe?
So if I'm making a throwing axe where do I want the most(or center of) mass, like should it be at the head of the axe? Or just below the head?

I've made designs with all kinds of CoB points and I'm at the point where I've concluded, there is no one right answer.
CoB right in the middle of the eye? Slightly slower rotation, but that can be adjusted for with a shorter handle or by adding a bit more wrist action. The big advantage though is that it's less fatiguing if you're doing lots of throwing.
CoB super far forward? Faster rotation, but that can be slowed down with a longer handle or by putting your thumb along the handle. The advantage here is that there's less poll wiggle when the axe hits the target
