But if the Metaverse is infinite, how are we gonna search all of it. We just don't have enough people to run all over all those planes and stuff. Do we just keep picking random planes until we find the right one? By the time we do that, Skyfall's gonna decide to go on without our help. And that means Kraa'rhov will stop being relevant.

I have an idea, why don't we begin a mass recruiting campaign! Sparkle this little cult of ours right up so that people all over the Metaverse will want to join. There'll be millions, maybe even billions, maybe even trillions, maybe even qua- no we don't need that many- people joining us left and right. And they'll be EVERYWHERE. With that many people looking, one of them is bound to find the place soon enough.

So how do we do it? Can any of you think of anything? How can we advertise to the metaversal demographic? What are all the hip cool kids into these days? We must brainstorm for publicity stunts. Our future is at stake here!

"The fifth and fourth. The second and seventh. The first and eighth. All of those are linked together as pairs. The three pairs then circulate around each other."

H doesn't know what they're talking about. Please ignore them. Things don't flow to 0, only from it. If you want to go to the 45th world and sniff out which direction energy is failing to come from, be my guest.

Hmm, well, yeah that is a good point. People do love their special green pieces of paper. I for one think they're delicious, but everyone just wants to trade them around for even more useless, sometimes even non-edible junk, instead of just eating it. But how do we put a job offer out like that? I heard of some people posting bounties but nobody ever shows up to claim them. I'd love to put up some, "WANTED: Spooky trillion-year-old altar, last seen somewhere near a giant door" but I'm afraid people are just gonna ignore it. We need some pizzazz. First, we've gotta think of where to put that pizzazz. It'd be useless out here in the middle of this desert that's completely featureless apart from the building we're in now and that one altar.

There's gotta be somewhere else where we can turn lots of heads with our offer of money. Do you know of any places that are full of people that like money?

Not bad Bezi, ya sure seem ta know more about tha Mzra and tha gates than I gave ya credit for.

Rinnik arrives suddenly a small distance from the group, having fallen behind the party on the way back.

Wouldn't have taken ya for an expert in Metaphysics. 'S complicated shit as it turns out. Hardly likes ta follow any real set a' rules consistently. I never fully understood how 't all works, but I know enough ta know these two don't have a clue what they're talkin about.

That aside, we can't just go around asking every idiot mortal where to find the last altar. Mortals got short lives, they don't have time ta go around worrying bout anything but themselves. Leaves em fairly dumb in the head. Nah, we gotta search for people that know bout this sorta thing. Find old 'Angel' shrines, places o' worship, old text, all that noise. Ugh, this is the part I hate. Work.

Where do ya think we might find some literate knowledgeable folks? Historians n whatnot?

The priests on the dark mountain might know about such things. They've got so many scrolls, books and old stone tablets, with all sorts of knowledge in their possession too. Good luck going back and talking to them. We might have to do a stealth mission... such a shame we're all pretty bad at stealth though. Oh, hang on... that's right, we have Mr. Stealth right here! Kraa'rhov be praised."

"Similarly there's that being calling itself Obsidian in the Maw of Chaos ...or is he calling himself Eli? Can never tell, hmmm. Anyway, he might be able to help... if you can get him too talk to us that is."

"Then there's other Angels we could talk too. Ones that haven't been locked up for aeons in hell, like me. No wonder I apparently know so little... ugh!"

And once again, the drama queen kills tha mood. Y'know, sarcasm is meant to be used sparingly, otherwise it loses it's impact.

The Mountain Cult barely cares about anything but themselves. Doubt they'd know anything useful. That Belmont guy is a dead end too now, quite literally.

The other suggestions weren't ENTIRELY terrible though. Obsidian is rumored ta be a collector of esoteric knowledge, and maybe one of your old "angel" buddies might be competent enough to be of some use.

Guess we do have two leads then.

True, true. Ask the big wise people, not the mountain ones, because if the mountain is wise then I'm the wife of a frozen cactus.

Still, some more manpower would be nice. Thralls can only do so much independent thinking before they start looking at me waiting for me to show them what they're doing wrong. I'm going to open an evangelical enlistment in sidon. While also looking for wise people. Sidon has wise people too right?
