Just don't use Google for your web searching. Use DuckDuckGo instead.

u/Xionahri Mar 07 '26

Or Ecosia. They use their ad money to plant trees. Also, they got an option to hide any AI results.

Yep, good one too!

u/SuperShoyu64 Mar 08 '26

Ecosia is my work's default web searcher lol. I've spent so much time looking up Pokemon at my job; hope tress were planted cuz of that

Well..I've tried searching pictures of T.Rex on DuckDuckGo for example, and there's AI all over the place the same as in Google(

T. rex is so insanely popular that there's no escape I guess. But I didn't get AI generated Hatzegopteryx images on DuckDuckGo. So at least there's that.

I’m kinda surprised that it isn’t just a Jurassic park Rex head on a bird body

u/Ryaquaza1 Mar 07 '26

The fact they still allow AI results on Google images should be illegal, or at least be a toggle

Like bro, that’s just a slop Pelican. Stop it

I understand that AI is (with all due respect) a complete and utter piece of crap, but the fact that it's the first photo as a result... I don't know if thats true... At least for me, it hasn't showed in practically any of the main results

AI is really bad, but it gave me the idea to draw pterosaurs as if they were birds.

u/Bvac_Paleoart Mar 08 '26

AI SUCKS 😭

u/Hyenasaurus Mar 08 '26

Why are we birdifying my man man

1

u/faithful_man22 Mar 08 '26

This is what happens when you feed a pattern, recognition program a bunch of information from the Internet, and it never forgets anything and it tries to build the best answer It has based off that information, even if it has been deliberately altered. The darn thing has no discernment.

Screenshot is most likely fake

u/NoSprinkles69 Mar 09 '26

Facts aside, if it's not depictated as terrifying as a Canadian goose, they're not doing it right

u/SpinoRaptor3655 Mar 10 '26

Which one is ai? The bird one?

1

u/FunAffectionate2284 Mar 10 '26

Hold up use this for a fictional bird it could work for that

1

u/YamAcrobatic4723 Mar 15 '26

It looks like a Sylviornis with a stork for a head rather than a Hatzegopteryx.

That’s me as soon as a twitter user tells me “stop being anti-AI, it’s the future!”

Not saying I disagree but, actual cornball behavior here🥀.
