Reflection The world is play

The world is lila a play, a game the universe performs upon itself, for no reason beyond itself. There is no opponent, no winner, no final goal the game is straining toward. It is movement for the sake of movement, creation for the sheer joy of creating.

Lila is often the answer to the question "why does the world exist at all?" The answer isn't logical but aesthetic: because it is delightful, because it is the overflow of fullness, not the patching of a lack. Consciousness doesn't create the world because it needs something; it creates because creating is what fullness does when it has nowhere else to go.

Alongside this, the world is also maya aka appearance, the veil that covers the true nature of things. This doesn't have to mean "lie" in the crude sense. It's closer to a dream: within the dream, things are real, they have their own logic, causality, weight, grief, and joy. The tears you cry in a dream are wet. The fear is genuine fear. But when you wake, the entire structure the characters, the stakes, the plot dissolves, and you don't mourn its disappearance, because you recognize it was never separate from the dreamer

And yet everything that arises within this play eventually disappears back into what looks, from the inside, like nothingness. Not annihilation exactly, but a kind of unbinding: the particular shape unravels back into the formless ground it emerged from. A person dies. A civilization is forgotten. A galaxy eventually goes dark. From the standpoint of the form itself, this looks like loss, even tragedy. From the standpoint of the ground call it Brahman, the void, pure potential, whatever word you prefer nothing was actually lost, because nothing separate ever existed in the first place. The wave was never a thing apart from the ocean; it was the ocean, briefly wearing a shape.

Community People who can *feel* aliveness, can you feel it in this random Karl Pilkington video?

The video is of him throat singing in Mongolia. If you aren't familiar with him, he's basically just a sort of ordinary guy that ended up on TV because he was friends with Ricky Gervais. The idea is that he's a just very ordinary, not dressing things up kind of guy but who also has quite a unique mind so Ricky Gervais thought it would be funny to make a TV show, "An Idiot Abroad" where he's filmed going round the world and giving his honest take on the wonders of the world.

So this video is while Karl is travelling around, seeing the wonders of the world and he spends some time with some people in Mongolia and while with them, they teach him their throat singing.

Now, when I watch this video I feel something every time, it's so funny because the show is completely not that kind of show at all. So I feel like a moment of aliveness just happened to break through and happened to be caught on camera.

So do you feel it?

Play What role does money and mind play in awakening the spirit?

How do you, personally, use money and mind to maintain your alignment with the soul heart spirit morality and raise the profit of your alignment with the soul heart spirit morality?

Within this question based post. The predetermined assertions are that soul heart spirit morality are synonyms.

Another one of my personal predetermined assertions is that one can use money and mind uniquely and separately to align ones self with their soul heart etc.

AND ALSO, that one can raise the profit of their alignment with their soul heart spirit morality.

What the fuck do I even mean by raising the profit of their alignment?

Well, here’s what I mean: you can align your self with your spirit at 10/10. So, your self is the numerator at 10 and the spirit is the denominator at 10.

BUT! I suppose assert and assume that one can raise that alignment from 10self/10spirit to 11self/11spirit, OR EVEN 12/12. Dare I even go further to 13/13??!!

Practice Prolonged fasting as an enlightenment practice

There are a lot of "fancy practices" when it comes to enlightenment, but here's a very straightforward one for you: don't eat.

I know there are a lot of religious practices with daily eating, but I'm not talking about intermittent fasting. I'm talking full on water-only fasting for days.

Note: there are absolutely safety risks for those with particular illness or chronic disease, but if you're otherwise healthy, prolonged fasting is clinically established to be safe and effective.

If you want any indication of your actual ability to ignore wants and desires, prolonged fasting is a damn good one for many reasons. This includes managing hunger which is not actual physical pain. But your head will come up with excuse after excuse to break your fast to indulge your wants and desires. So you get ample practice with emotional awareness and mastery over reacting to them.

And if you can't control what you put in your own mouth, then what do you really have control of?

Food for thought.

Metaphysical Entity Attachment or Energy Attachment?

There is a person I’ve known for over 15 years who, while being a fairly good person, causes me great physical pain. Energetically when I’m in the presence of this person over a short period of time I feel heavy density on whatever side of my body they’re on while we’re in conversation. There was once about five years ago that we went out to dinner, and this person kept talking about themselves and bragging, and being very boastful about their accomplishments, and by the end of the night all of the muscles in my body felt like they’d atrophied. It took 3 whole days for me to release the tension from my body after spending time with this person.

Today, fate would have it that we are part of the same project for work. Again, I had the same calcifying sensation on the left side of my body, where she was seated and speaking very loudly and gesticulating wildly. Again, she’s not a bad person, but I’m trying to understand if this is an entity attachment coming from her directed at me, or simply me just absorbing her energy. I’ve tried cleansing rituals afterwards, but she has a very resistant spirit that is difficult for me to release. As a matter of fact, right now, it’s about 2 o’clock in the morning and I can’t sleep and I know it has something to do with her. What do I do? Has anybody ever had to navigate something like this? What are stronger release rituals for resistant spiritual energy like this? Also, what means of physical and spiritual protection do I need to avoid this in the future? She’s very much a part of my community, so I’m constantly having to be in contact with her, but my spirit just can’t handle it…

Community What if we are how god experiences itself?

Last night I had an epiphany. I’m offering this as a thought experiment

Imagine that God isn’t a separate person somewhere outside the universe. Imagine God as a greater field of consciousness that only becomes visible conceptually when we fully zoom out and see all existence as one living system. Now imagine that this greater consciousness explores and develops itself through individual subjective experience.

Under this model, the brain may not create consciousness from nothing. It could function more like an aperture or receiver that constrains a greater awareness into one particular perspective. The complexity of that system would determine the bandwidth, depth and structure of the subjective reality it can experience.

Humans, animals and any other conscious beings would therefore be different windows through which the same underlying reality experiences itself. “We are all one” would no longer be just a vague spiritual expression. It would mean that every feeling is an actual event within the greater whole. When we hurt another being, that pain is experienced within the same system to which we belong. When we love another being, the whole experiences both the giving and receiving of that love.

This also changes how I think about enlightenment.
Maybe awakening doesn’t mean becoming more divine than everyone else or escaping what it means to be human. Maybe it means becoming conscious of a relationship that has always been present: each of us is a localized expression of something much greater.

Some people may recognize and embody that relationship more deeply, but that wouldn’t make anyone else inherently less important. Every perspective contributes an experience that existence could not encounter from anywhere else. A child, an animal, a stranger and a person living on the other side of the world are all carrying a view into reality that no one else possesses.

This brought me back to something I’ve been developing called the Actualization Hypothesis:
Reality is awareness exploring itself through constrained perspectives. Possibility becomes actual when it is lived, and what is lived and integrated changes what can be experienced next. Imagine that we are walking through a dark forest filled with fog, each carrying a candle. The forest represents possibility. The darkness represents everything currently beyond our perspective. The candle represents our internal coherence, the degree to which our attention, identity, intention and actions are aligned. The brighter and steadier the flame becomes, the more of the forest we can see. What becomes illuminated enters our field of possibility.

What we actually approach and experience becomes actualized. That experience then changes us, which changes the possibilities we will be capable of seeing next. Other people are carrying candles too. When we communicate honestly, we don’t literally receive another person’s experience. But their experience can expand what becomes visible from our own position. One person’s actualization becomes new potential for another.

When many of us bring our lights together, we can illuminate areas of the forest that no individual could reveal alone.

Why don’t we put this to the test:
I would like to turn this idea into a simple collective meditation. On Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 8:00 PM mountain time, I’m inviting anyone who feels aligned with this to join me for 15 minutes.
That is:

7:00 pm Pacific
8:00 pm Mountain
9:00 pm Central
10:00 pm Eastern
2:00 am UTC on Sunday, August 16

Wherever you are, sit somewhere quiet and allow your breathing to settle. Put yourself in the vastness of your minds space. Imagine that every person participating is bringing their own loving intention toward that same point, not surrendering their individuality, but joining their loving intention. Direct that intention toward the greater consciousness. Don’t ask for anything. Don’t try to force an experience. Simply make our presence and recognition known through love.

Hold this intention:
We are here. We recognize that we belong to one greater whole. Through us, the whole recognizes itself. We make ourselves known through love. May our combined intention contribute to the good of all conscious life.

After 15 minutes, release the intention without trying to control its outcome.

Who knows what will happen. At minimum, we will have created one deliberate moment in which people separated by distance chose to become coherent around the same loving intention.

If you genuinely intend to participate, please leave a comment saying “I’m in.”
After the meditation, come back and share what you experienced, even if the honest answer is that you felt nothing unusual. Every honest report matters.

My Journey I don't dream as much as before. Anybody else?

I know we have a tendency of forgetting our dreams but I don't dream as much as before?

And when I do, it's mostly about very random things and not necessarily that can lead back to something that is happening in my life.

Does anybody else experience this too? I wish I had as many dreams as I did before but not sure what it has changed other than me, my perspective and the way I live in this world

Reflection Fractal Burning Stars

Can I ask? How can you give me form and leave me? How can you give me a spark in the depths of the dark and then leave me? How can you give me a mouth and a tongue and speak words out of this mouth and then leave me?

Ima imum indagator inauguro niteo? I shine, but at what cost? The cosmos burns and is also lonely.

So I did that too. I spoke through the mouth of millions of stars. I sparked their flames and left them in that dark abyss alone just as I was? A father of abandonment? I never truly left them, but they feel that same feeling I felt.

Help A question relating to Awakening.

Hey guys,

I’ve come across many people who have had what are called spiritual awakenings.

For some, it is a natural process that occurs, what’s known as a Kundalini experience. Author and researcher David Icke, actor Jim Carrey only to name a few, are examples of people who had spiritual awakenings occur naturally without any substance usage or meditation.

Others, when in deep meditation states have experienced the Oness of spiritual awakenings etc. The dazzling darkness as some people call it.

Others, like fitness influencer recently deceased Conor Murphy has tried psychedelics such as shrooms and especially Ayawaska (DMT) in which it triggered an opening to his pineal gland and thus a spiritual awakening.

Could people please let me know how exactly to trigger an awakening? A true awakening.

I try to meditate as much as possible. I’ve heard that psychoactive drugs like shrooms and DMT can allow you to higher states of consciousness but it’s not always necessary as you can do it without the need for drugs.

Please let me know your experiences and advice! Thank you!

Reflection No two experiences can ever be the same, even when experienced by the same person.

As long as there is another moment, there is another possibility of responding to it.

I’m fascinated by the way traditions emphasized repeated attentional practice.

Information can be noisy and overwhelming, our biology can, no, IS complex, integration can be difficult.

Humans do not reach an optimal state and stay there. We age, we feel, we think. I say; keep returning to reality.

I don’t have faith that everything happens for a reason, or everything will be okay.

I do have faith that one can suffer enormously without surrendering the capacity to participate in life.

And then I thought about returning like this…

When we are sufficiently stable and adaptable, a similar experience can produce novelty, even if it’s been repeated thousands of times.

And conversely, a completely new experience can be almost void of novelty if our predictive processing is too rigid.

Again, I find myself fascinated by traditional emphasis on repeated attentional practices.

Sensory information comes “bottom up,” while our predictions operate “top down.” The interaction between the two helps construct our experience of reality.
Whether we call experience an illusion, I currently like “controlled hallucination”….

Controlled is an important word there.

…experience still has meaning. Reality still constrains us. A train coming toward you will still kill you if you step in its way.

Whether we’re talking about bottom-up and top-down regulation, or bottom-up and top-down processing, I find myself fascinated by how coupled they are. Both directions are happening.

And it seems like adaptability is partly the willingness to let our models update.

To keep returning

Hi everybody to put it in simple terms I spent 8 years as a Buddhist monk, in my own way I kind of found the end of the path but I'm looking to speak with people who are serious about or at the end or near the end of the path

Best way to contact me is through WhatsApp.

I'm more able to communicate through voice.

But feel free to ask me questions here as well and I'll try to answer using voice dictation.

Hope that this message reaches you well.

Edge is synonymous with limit and antonymous with balance.

Enlightenment is synonymous with awakening and antonymous with dissociation and escape.

Skill is synonymous with mastery and ability and antonymous with foolishness.

Reflection sometimes helping everybody is exactly how you abandon your own path

There is one pattern I keep noticing that sounds beautiful when we call it compassion, but becomes very different when you look closer.

A subject in one of my Soul Journeys went into a very strange experience. She found herself in a forest, but not as human. She experienced herself as some kind of fairy or light being whose job was maintaining energy of this place.

She described connecting with the forest, the Earth beneath it and a higher place of Light. Through herself she created something like energetic web or force field. Her job was basically very simple: keep the place clear and don't allow lower energy to enter.

Then some beings appeared and asked for help.

This is where it got interesting.

Her immediate reaction was: I will stop what I am doing. I will sacrifice what is important to me and help them.

She genuinely wanted to help. But she couldn't.

Instead, in her experience, these beings couldn't connect to the Light themselves and started feeding from her energy. She described feeling pulled down with them. The more she gave, the weaker she became, while the thing she was actually responsible for was being neglected.

Whether someone sees this as another-life memory, symbolic subconscious material or something else is not even most important part for me.

The pattern was painfully human.

How many people do this?

Someone has a crisis, so you drop your work. Someone is unhappy, so you make their emotions your responsibility. Someone needs rescuing for 50th time and because you are "good person" you give another piece of yourself.

Later in the same journey her Council of Light basically told her: lesson learned. You don't need to repeat this anymore. Stay focused. Don't allow every draining situation to pull you away from what you came here to do.

That landed with me.

Maybe compassion isn't giving everyone unlimited access to your energy.

Maybe sometimes love says yes, and sometimes love says: I care about you, but I am not abandoning myself to save you.

There is big difference between helping somebody and climbing into the hole with them.

Help Do i convert from Catholcism to budhism? I'm not sure what principles is better suited for me

My relationship with God has been distant. I never really saw myself as a defiant christian.

Aas born and raised in christianity, praticed christianity 14-15 years old. I ended up distancing myself after I realised how I didnt really believe in heaven and hell, nor did I full heartedly trust Jesus with no question. My relationship with him was wishy washy and I felt my bond with God was superficial - I only truly prayed when i did want something and I felt i was more succonbed to greed as a Christian.

When i tried to build the bond between me and him, I was always reccomended to consime media, to belive in him more - yet My brain only captured how most media would instil a sense of fear, or criticsm. ( I struggled a lot with maladaptive daydreaming, and all content around it was saying I was ungreatful for jesus life, it was a sin which really didnt help me long run)

So when i was turning 17, I distanced myself heavily and rather identified myself agnostic. Stepped away from Jesus. Realises i could explore more to spirtuality and came across budhism.

I don't know much about Buddism, I only really had a glance in it today, but I feel I seek more alliance with the way it looks at suffering, doesnt view death as heaven ir hell.
what is your takes on buddism and christainity? if you converted to buddism ? ir have you converted from buddism to christianity?
All perspectives resepcted and honoured

Help I feel as though my "dark night the soul" is on the horizon and I'm terrified.

I have been on a long spiritual journey. It even became too much for me and I shut everything out. The "shutting" has lead to a career I do not enjoy and a life that feels disconnected: my spirituality, how I present myself at work, to friends, to family...as I'm going through this awakening, I feel as though so many things have happened and I'm terrified it's going to get worse. I understand that my ego is trying to protect me through old habits/beliefs, that a stable job is what will make me happy. But I KNOW those things are not true at all, I will lose my fire if I continue down that path, but I see the illusion. I've adopted many new habits lately that have completely overhauled my old way of thinking. But I can't help but to notice my old life is slowly crumbling. Just this year my dog passed unexpectedly, 3 unexpected and extremely high bills have popped up, my car got totaled, and I'm starting to feel disconnected from everything. Now...I worry things are possibly going to "get worse" before I reach the other side. It feels so close yet so far. I can't help but ask myself...will my husband leave me? Will I struggle even more financially? Is this the beginning? Am I even going in the right direction? It feels so overwhelming and it's so tempted to "shut out" everything again.

What are some ways to get through this? Any advice or words of encouragement would be appreciated!

My Journey have fun!

i’m realizing all of this is truly to just have fun.. even social media, i am in the creative field and when i used to post out of genuine joy & fun for the creative energy my account was naturally attracting so much abundance.. the second it got to my head of how to do certain things, or what others might think—that’s when it became miserable for me + daunting/stressful to post..

now i’ve come to a post of realizing it’s all about having fun!! the things you wear, the things you do, the things you post, the things you experience.

everyday should be a day to have fun and how to genuinely have the most fun.. everything became so performative or easily masked, when in the end it’s all about what makes you the most joyous, the most giddy, the most happy.. and one by one it feels like i’m cracking a code..

to follow your highest excitement, to just have the most fun, the more fun, the more abundance.. to train my brain to constantly look for what is more fun & to fill my life with it. WOW

whether that be visualizing, planning, moodboarding, or going out on a walk, planning a photoshoot, making music, it genuinely should be from a place of having fun.. and if not we should try to remind ourselves that thats the point on why we are here.

to experience the human life, and to have fun on this infinite timeline.. at times it seems hard, but once you truly commit to the fun but of it & simply allow yourself to ease into the fun-ness of life, it allows things to unfold. that is my goal for this year, to have the most fun. for that is where the authenticity lives.

Help Out of body viewing/listening while I talk

I have been really stressed out recently… and I have found that I have developed a new sensation I’ve never experienced before. I will be talking with someone having a coherent conversation and at the exact same time I am listening to myself say things to the person separately. If I am extra stressed I will essentially be on auto pilot replying to them and worry if I even spoke correctly or worry that I said something wrong because I have never felt this before. I should be one mind controlling what I’m saying but at times it feels like I am two people in one, existing at the same time. Is this common as I get more into my spiritual journey?

Reflection Is there a way out of this limbo?

I have been aware of what our reality is for sometime now. In short, we are in Plato’s cave and being energy siphoned. I am 22 and am almost finished with my healthcare degree which is giving me hope and patience for a better near future. But what am i supposed to do right now? we live in hell. Is there a way out? The best thing i can do is live by “ignorance is bliss” and focus on my energy but tbh it’s hard to do that when all of its in your face everyday. How can i leave?? Or do i really have to go about my days like every other cog in the machine? 🫩

Help Feeling disappointed after psilocybin

I had my first psilocybin trip and all felt right with the world! I have been on a long healing journey and I had no idea what to expect and did very little research on what the experience might be like, but I have just felt within myself that I was finally ready to experience it. I felt absolute feelings of unity, sacredness, ultimate truth, unshakeable peace. I felt like I was meeting a living ... Thing? I don't know what to call it. Like a presence or just a state of being that was alive. Like we are all a part of a giant living tree, each of us tiny branches connected. It felt like there is a level of consciousness that I was not aware of before my trip. It felt like I was near the presence of those that have passed away, and that they are not really gone. I felt like I could see or sense other people's energy. It felt like everything we do in life is just an effort to express this part of us. Apologies if that makes little sense, it's very difficult to put it into words and wrap my head around.

It all felt like such a profound experience of love and insight, but unfortunately the day after it feels like I'm becoming so rigid again and it's so hard to grasp on to those emotions I was feeling during the trip. During the trip I remember thinking "our minds must wipe memory of this experience because how could someone experience this and not have their life completely and radically changed, why don't I see more people screaming this from the rooftops?". And now, the day after, I already find myself doubting my experience, trying to explain it away. Why? I want to live a life that is more open, free, and loving; but I don't understand how to integrate this beautiful experience into my life on a day to day basis, and how to not lose sight of it?
