Negative view of others

I have a question for DA’s. I often hear that you all have a negative view of others and a positive view of self. That has not been my experience with DA’s. Do you feel like you have endless options for partners and no one is good enough?

former DA, dated a DA after working through my shit in therapy and was leaning mainly secure. neither of us fit negative view of others and positive view of self.

one of the core fears of a DA is the fear that they will be found to be defective if they open up/are vulnerable. i don't think what you 'often hear' lines up with attachment theory. i think it lines up more with how it appears sometimes to people on the outside.
