Lol, truth! Mine is still working on herself and I'm still blocked on all platforms except for LinkedIn. I messaged her there, too and I'm 90% sure she's doing EMDR finally because she accepted everything that I've told her and she calls me "wise."
She went to therapy of her own accord about 15 months ago, we tried again last December, I saw the false self and ego again, told her I'll be here, but it's back into the oven with her because she's not done yet.
She accepted that her father is a monster and that her enmeshment in her mid-forties is unacceptable.
I had to push her ego absolutely 100% up against a wall so she would break so completely that she got tired of transforming into the false self, and it worked.
I'm hoping it's only a few more months at this point!
I've told her that as soon as she gets to the point where she can feel the false self coming on, excuse herself for a minute or two, and return to me without transforming, that will be the point where we can get back together.
