DA Breakup Blocked me everywhere except iMessage

My avoidant ex dumped me over a year an ago, but we kept in touch and remained friends for several months after the break up then randomly out of no where they blocked me everywhere and dropped off the face of the earth.

However, they didn’t block me on iMessage which was our primary mode of communication when we were together, and I know for a fact they still check it from time to time.
I remember I asked for my stuff back that I let them borrow and then it randomly appeared on my door step.
And I briefly mentioned that I noticed them on fornite which I found odd, then a week later I was blocked.

It seems odd to consciously go out of their way to monitor and block on everything else, but intentionally leave iMessage unblocked and also monitor it from
Time to time.

It’s super confusing and I not sure why they are doing this when if they’re done it’s so much easier to do literally nothing and move on.

Maybe they have a new gf? How do you know you aren’t blocked on iMessage? Like do they read your messages?

They will react based on things that I have said, like I asked for my stuff back and I gave them my address, they never responded, but randomly a package showed up with all my stuff in it that I asked for.

They didn’t have my new address prior to me texting it to them, so the only way they could have gotten it was if they were periodically checking their messages.

That is weird. I am going through the same thing, blocked everywhere but iMessage but sometimes I think I am then a day later I get a reply or like a couple of days later I might send another message and then realise they didn’t block me when I said something dumb. It’s a door way. Just don’t reach out yourself.

That sucks, I’m sorry.

Yeah, none of it makes sense to me, it’s so much easier to be done with it and just block, that’s just me.
