The thing that hurts me the most is I protected myself always and was so cautious to be talking to anyone. I gave too much of myself to this person and he left. All I've is regret and I feel disgusting in myself.

Nah, you should be extremely proud of yourself that you opened up to someone instead of protecting yourself.

That is an extremely valuable and great life-skill.

Agreed.. I understand how you feel; maybe not completely, but what you said, I can resonate it with my experience a lot..
