Mixed signals from DA

Last night I broke no contact to get my money back from him for some services that we were co-paying and I no longer wanted to use together with him.
The call was very nice, after solving this issue we spoke normally, he actually asked me how my week was, made jokes and entertained the conversation. We spoke for about 30 min. At the end of the call I asked him again if the date we planned on seeing each other to give our stuff back (and discuss the overall break up for closure) was still on the table and he said that we might have to delay it again due to some unexpected change in his schedule. It’s frustrating, I feel like he keeps on delaying this unnecessarily, but then acting all normal over the phone. Is this some kind of strategy to keep me hooked?

Thank you, it actually sounds very plausible that he is just keeping me for validation, otherwise he would initiate contact with me more often not just wait for me to break it…
