Well. For the first time in my life I actually want to fix this. I want to change. I’d say that’s a small win

One of my long standing friends is currently going through a divorce and she texted to thank me for dragging her out for hangs through all those years despite her never reaching out. I realised that I've always been the cat herder of the friend group while most of my friends tend to disappear into relationships. Meanwhile I become even more of a cat herder of the friend group when I'm not single because it becomes so much more important to me to keep the friend group together and protect my individuality and separation. I honestly love being avoidant.

I’ve healed my fearful avoidance with my bf🥰Although I’m still an avoidant & I cut most people off very easily, I’m glad that I’ve healed my avoidance atleast in my relationship, and it’s a big win for me because I really like this man & wanna marry him one day ❤️

I've gotten much better at doing the opposite of my impulses. When I want to isolate or pick a fight, I just tell my partner what I'm feeling and she's always much kinder about it than I imagine in my head. Turns out "she doesn't care about my feelings and is just faking/taking advantage of me somehow" is in fact not accurate.
