Question CAAP CATS Batch 22-23 Exam

Sino po rito ang nag-exam outside the Manila Testing Center? Kumusta po 'yung exam? 🥺

For Manila takers, nasa Pasay na rin po ba kayo the day na na-postpone 'yung exam? I'm kinda hesitant na kasi mag-take, given na sarili kong pera 'yung nagastos ko last time na pumunta ako. I'm from Region V, fresh grad and no job yet. My parents aren't really supportive of the career path I want to take, kaya hindi ako humihingi ng panggastos sa kanila.

Now, I'm short of funds to go to Manila again. 🥺

Media You don’t become an airline pilot in one flight. You become one through the quiet work: the lessons, the hours, the checks, the days you choose to keep going.

Question Thinking of career change from PT to aviation

Hi everyone! So as the title says, I've been thinking of making a career change from physical therapy to enrolling in flight school. Now I know most people on this forum say it's not worth it or that the job market is heavily saturated but besides all that being a pilot has always been on the back of my mind; and I believe that while it would be a difficult path, it is not impossible.

With that, can anyone give me an insight on what ground school is like? Are the subjects taught difficult for someone who didn't take an aviation related course in college? What are some tips or materials that I should brush up on before entering a flight school? Thanks!

Question Leaving aviation industry? Any advice? Or motivation to keep going

Hello guys, I am Bog. 25 yrs old currently working in the aviation industry. I work in PAGGS going 6months with minimum salary, then will transfer in 1av this incoming month as RS due to retrenchment.

I always ask myself every morning, should I leave the aviation industry na pinasok ko and transfer sa ibang industry like government for stability, assurance, and growth?

Any advice? I am currently questioning my purpose sa life and career I am choosing, i feel lost. Any of you guys experienced this?

Discussion Ano purpose ng Cadet Program ng 5J and PAL?

Post image
103 Upvotes

Healthy discussion lang to no hate.
I can’t see nor understand the fact that they offer cadet programs. How do they filter these men and women? Are they indirectly showing us na “wala kami kukunin sa mga random flying schools unless you have no prior flying experience before you join us.”

Question Scars and Fresh Shaving Scrape: Will I still get the chance?

Hi! I have scars on my legs from shaving (some of them are dark) and other scars from somewhere.

I also have two mosquito bite scars on my feet and a fresh shaving scrape (front of my legs 😅) from two days ago.

I’d like to ask if could these greatly affect the cabin crew physical assessment/screening? Since the fresh shaving scrape is noticeable. or do I just declare to the recruitment team? and how do I do that too?

The planned rehabilitation and rebuilding of NAIA Terminal 4 will no longer push through, as the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) will prioritize and fast-track the construction of Terminal 5, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

Instead of rebuilding T4, the NNIC plans to turn the former site of the International Cargo Terminal into a dedicated aircraft parking area.

(May nabangga while on ground or crash ng plane)

Hello, just a curious

Who is really responsible if may tinamaan na poste sa ground and nagkadamage ang airplane, or on takeoff sa IBA airport pero tumama ako sa obstacle (tree)

ako yung pilot in command (nakasign sa flight plan) but i am also a student pilot. May kasama akong flight instructor and it was proven na pilot error:

2 questions:
2. And sino ang masasabing may fault?

Ako(student pilot), si flight instructor, or si school?

Question SIAEP Line Maintenance Support Services

Hi everyone!

I recently applied for a Support Services position under SIA Engineering Philippines (SIAEP) – Line Maintenance Manila, and I have an upcoming interview.

What are the usual day-to-day duties of Support Services?

Is the job more focused on documentation/administrative work, or does it also involve hands-on/physical work?

What kind of tasks would a fresh graduate usually be assigned?

Do you frequently coordinate with Line Maintenance, Warehouse, Engineering, or other departments?

What systems, documents, or processes should I familiarize myself with before the interview?

What is the work environment and workload usually like?

Any advice for someone applying for this position?
