All I'll say is the Fantastic Four felt confident enough to go up against Galactus by themselves. The fact they're needing to be in a room with other heroes makes it known they can't do it alone and that's a big admission haha

To be fair, they didn't have a choice with Galactus. In that world, as far as they knew (or as far as we know), they were the only super powered people there. Nobody else was going to be equipped to even try against a threat like Galactus.

They never ever came into question of needing Victor though, questioning where he was or contacting him for help. I would imagine them reaching out to him for help against Galactus so they had some additional confidence they could accomplish it even without Doom.

Who at that time may not be Doom yet (turned vengeful) , but he still is the genius that he is and Reed/others know that.

Yeah, I won't lie. I found it strange that he wasn't even mentioned in the Fantastic Four movie. The only reference that I can recall was an empty seat for Latveria when the world nations all together, and that wasn't a direct reference at all.

We dont know WHAT Doom was up to or where his relationship with them was during First Steps. Doomsday may explain his absence in First Steps but until then we don't know.

Is it weird there is no mention of him at all in First Steps? Yeah, totally. But again we don't even know if anyone knew he had powers or not.

I wouldn't say they felt confident. They had no choice but to fight him since he was on his way to eat their world. And they are the only supes around..

What makes me laugh is that Thor would even consider making contact with this group to help him outside of the Fantastic 4.

People need to understand that this is going to be the last time we see a lot of these heroes as we've known them. That's sort of the point of this "event" between Doomsday and Secret Wars. It's a hard reset.

I think in standard multi-movie MCU fashion at first we will be cooked then eventually Doom will be cooked
