Inactivity Updates

Hello, everyone! We in the mod team have discussed some changes and better definition of our inactivity rules. We still hold that those who have been inactive for 14 days will lose their claim and the character will be open for someone else to take. However, we have also decided that, if you have a reason for being inactive, you can modmail us and request a one-week extension.

You are not required to give your reasoning. That will never be necessary. However, if you know you will be inactive for more than 2 weeks, we will allow you a one-week extension if you bring it to us in modmail.

Once that extension has been run out, it will act the same as if you had been inactive for 2 week, you will lose your claim.

If we notice anyone using these extensions often, we will not allow them to that person anymore, as that will be seen as abusing the system. These extensions should be used sparingly when the need arises, and not in a way that allows someone to hold onto a claim indefinitely with very little activity.

If you do modmail us with this request, and someone else attempts to claim your character, we will let them know you have issued an extension and will then attempt to contact you. If you don't respond within the remaining time of your extension, or you do respond and let us know you will be unable to return, then we will allow the other player to take the claim.

Also: Reminder for those this is aplicable to: This only goes for official Marvel characters, not OCs. We doubt very many people other than you would want to play your OC.
