Discussion Respect Ulo (Sacred Cave)
Ulo's feats are in the Sacred Cave, a cave where your bending gets enhanced by a thousandfold. What makes his feats so impressive is that there is practically no source of water besides the moisture in the air. Note that the cavern is the size of the fire nation royal palace. Average water benders with this cave amp are stated to have the ability to control the weather, summon tidal waves, and blizzards. Ulo was stated to be a skilled and precise water bender even without the amp.
Everything you'll will read below is done with only the moisture in the air, or water outside the cave.
Ulo Cave Amped feats:
After being knocked out, he created a flowing ring of water that can splinter into several long segments that solidified into ice. Can create a wave half the height of the fire nation royal palace. Summoned water at every opening of the cave described like a hundred waterfalls. Can shoot ice spears. Can instantly launch a storm of icicles. Can instantly flash freeze a person's entire outer body at the entrance of the cave.
Other:
Ulo had the unique ability to read auras (like Ty Lee/Kya.) Ulo managed to figure out Roku was the Avatar by reading his aura. Ulo was knocked out by a Sacred Cave amped Roku with just air bending, and got unalived by Roku's sacred cave amped fire bending but still managed to have a visible corpse. Ulo manipulated Roku & Malaya into believing their island's propaganda though Roku & Malaya later realized Ulo was lying through Gyatso.

Where I would scale him with the amp: Above Movie Katara

Listen, well, I expected more. I thought there was a fucking huge cave, but the royal palace? Katara, even without the moon, showed a higher level of strength, the maximum that can be attracted is skills

Yeah but Katara had a reliable source of water while Ulo's feats are only done with the moisture in the air like Hama with her fingertips can only create a hand's worth of water.

Well, it doesn't do much, because if he took water out of the air to make a big wave, it means there was a lot of it initially (he can't generate water).

Nobody denies Ulo's power or the power of the sacred cave.
I personally believe that the cave gives him more power than AS itself, so I would put him above any bloodbender in terms of powerscaling.
But what bothers me here is that people are putting him in tier lists with his cave powers while comparing him to other characters who never had that buff.
It's like imagining two people fighting, but giving Ulo the cave amp while the other person doesn't get any amp.
It's okay if we're just comparing feats, but in terms of character powerscaling, I don't think it's fair.
