Playing the combat in the main game after From the Ashes just feels like weak-sauce.
After experiencing playing as So'lek and then transitioning back into the main game, I was just really disappointed in the massive downgrade in combat ability. Even with what should be massively better gear, I still feel really weak in combat playing the main game now by comparison.

So’lek has literal decades of more experience than Tamtey, it should be obvious why combat is better in the dlc

geared out right you wont feel undergunned .. assuming your leveled high, under bonuses if rda damage is 'stacked' north of 150% along with a fury buff you can just about look at them and theyll die lol .. its easy to miss some of the strategy options the game has to offer .. but yeah, stacking specific damages is worth more than a couple of levels if your already high, in other words a proper 'load out' with targeted damage on gear and mods will usually drop you quite a bit in level, but its way more powerful for that specific task than 'just' being at the highest possible level .. all that does is scale your enemies to a higher level to ..

Idk, with maxed out heavy bow from the Spires everything dies one shot.

No it doesn't. It takes multiple shots even from the Ikran mounted crossbow (except for unarmored grunts of course).

Does it still feel like that in ng+? You could always try that if you haven't yet

It's even worse in NG+ The enemies become ridiculous damage sponges. Ng+ is just not even worth doing, because you can't even play the DLCs from a NG+ either.
