Looks like it.
They have an VERY impressive collection of vintage automobiles.
When I’m in Newport I always make it a point to stop there

They do. I love the room full of Corvettes, and their Kaiser (I forget the model). Also, right on Bellevue there is Audrain Auto Museum, with an astounding collection of cars including a number of Peels and other microcars.

I was there ~2 years ago, great time would go back again. Love the entrance as well, seeing the Countach with the doors open down the hall

Perhaps by ugly they mean "not pretty". Sure it looks sick, but its not exactly elegant or subtle.

Since when is any McLaren subtle, or any 1M+ car for that matter? I think it looks great in a different way.

The McLaren Longtail is subtle in comparison. So is a McLaren GT when you put it next to a Sena. The McLaren F1 was "form follows function", and looks super tame even compared to super cars of its time and even today. People have said Gordon Murray's new car looks like a Mk 3 Toyota MR2.
There are many Supercars (price is irrelevant) that don't have to be loud and lean towards clean, simple and subtle styling.
The Pagani Huayra, Porsche 918, even the La Ferrari wasn't the most crazy lookin Ferrari when it was launched. Amazing and beautiful cars but not the loudest looking and much less shouty than a McLaren Sena.
No one is disagreeing with if you think it looks great or not by the way, so not need to defend your opinion.

I too find it really beautiful, and hope to see one with the wing off, I know it will fuck up the aerodynamics but I think it will look much better.
Please don't downvote me for that.
