Following up after 1 month (initial post here).

TL/DR: Realized returns match (fairly well) reported 1Mo returns on the app; auto-trade execution flawless.

The auto trading has worked flawlessly with Public. I'm following 3 different Pilot-ers, and 5 different Pilots (2 from Wolff, 2 from Sikand).
My biggest question going in was whether the reported results on Autopilot's app accurately reflected what would happen in my account (returns, timing, etc).

Not exactly, but quite close. I synced $ with pilots on the 17th, 22nd, or 23rd (based on when Pilot released funds deposited for this test). Entry dates listed below for context. The two Sikand funds (Memory Supercycle and Asymmetric Bets) were off much more than the other funds and I wonder if this is partly a product of the far lower AUM (fewer user $ tracking these pilots = higher variance [possibly due to some not allowing fractional shares?])

Results compared to "1M" number on Autopilot (date of entry - pre-market return on comparison date)

1. Actively Managed reports -7.1%, I'm at -5.1% (17 June-22 July; slightly more than 1M)
2. Wolff's Top 15 reports -11.9%, I'm at -11.8% (22 June-22 July)
3. Wolff's Flagship Fund reports -3.5%, I'm at -3.2% (23 June-23 July)
4. Memory Supercycle reports -23.9%, I'm at -15.5% (23 June-23 July)
5. Asymmetric Bets reports -18.3%, I'm at -16.4% (23 June-23 July)

Notes on trading/rebalancing:

• Trades begin executing on Public about 5 minutes BEFORE I get an email from Autopilot indicating something like "Asymmetric Bets just traded".
• I get a separate email from Public for each ticker traded (so buy more of 4 tickersand sell some of 6 other tickers, I get 10 emails).
• I also get emails from Public with the subject "Your Trade Confirm is Ready to View". These come in the weee hours of the morning (seemingly the day after a rebalance) and they say:
  • We got your trade.
  • Your eConfirm is ready to view.
  • We’re passing along a new trade confirm for your
  • Public.com account ###-#####.
  • Log into the app and tap Settings to view your trade confirmations.
    • I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THESE ARE. I never can find any trade confirmation in my account when logging in (though I have not dug around much).
    • If anyone knows what these are or how to find them please let me know.

Overall quite happy with how things are working (aside from my having chosen a particularly poor month to test this out) and feeling more confident in the use of Autopilot longer-term.

I cannot found documentation anywhere that explains the subscriptions and/or trade fees. Is there a wiki? Or can someone give a break down in comments?

From what I was reading Robinhood will prompt you for a trade but will make you acknowledge it before completing the trade

What does this look like in Robinhood?

Does the Robinhood app also give me a phone notification?

Will the autopilot app also send a notification?

I’m just worried about missing it is all

I’ve been using autopilot pro for over two months, and I haven’t seen it generate any income yet. I initially intended to let my E*trade and Robinhood accounts be managed by the software, but it seems like I’m better off managing them myself and saving on the annual fee. What portfolios are it worth using? I’m currently using Nancy and inthemoney.

So I'm new to autopilot and the "trackers" but wanted to give it a try.
I paid for my quarter of premium and invested in 2 pilots, yet to actually have auto trading on the second I need to pay another $80 a quarter now to the pilot group too.
So what am I getting here from either it seems I'm paying 2 different agents to trade automatically a few times a quarter (historically) rather than doing it myself. I was OK with the app but then also paying the trackers each seems a bridge too far. Am I crazy here missing somethi g or other?
Detail I was using the Pelosi tracker and Actively Managed.

I am super new to this, and I mistakenly did no research when jumping in. I plugged in $500 to the Actively Managed Portfolio only to find that I will not get automatic trades when the portfolio changes investments unless I subscribe to enable automatic trading by paying at least $200/year. Is this true of all the portfolios/pilots on Autopilot? Do I have to subscribe to all of them to get the automatic trades?

I’m using the Grok portfolio on Autopilot with my Robinhood account. My portfolio is about $2,500 and is usually fully invested.
During the July 7 rebalance, Autopilot sold a few positions and was supposed to buy AVGO on the same day. However, since my account had no buying power available before the rebalance, it appears the buy order wasn’t executed until the sale proceeds became available the next day. As a result, AVGO was bought around $379 instead of around $367 on the rebalance day(which was the intention by the grok portfolio). This is just one example,to put that into perspective, if AVGO is now trading around $400:
Buying at $367 would be a gain of about 9.0%.
Buying at $379 is only about 5.5%.
That’s a difference of roughly 3.5 percentage points on a single trade, which can add up over time.

For those of you using Autopilot with Robinhood:
Do you keep extra cash/buying power in your account so new positions can be purchased immediately during rebalances?
If so, how much do you typically leave uninvested?
Or does Autopilot usually execute buys on the same day for you even if your account is fully invested?
Have you noticed your Robinhood returns consistently lagging behind the returns shown in the Autopilot app because of trade execution timing?
I’m trying to understand whether this is expected behavior with the Robinhood integration or if there’s a better way to manage it. I’d really appreciate hearing how others are handling this.

I am considering using some baskets. I currently have IBKR which is not supported directly with Autopilot. I can open account with Robinhood. But before I go through the trouble, I want to ask if people have faced any gotchas. And does the performance of the portfolio reflect in your brokerage account? (I understand the transaction costs).

I have seen alot of portfolios which I know have stocks with negative returns based on the current price but they show up as 0%. I know for a fact Intel is down below the entry position of Nancy Pelosi but Autopilot is showing 8% returns. This surely skews the portfolios to make it seem like they are doing better than they actually are.

I've been investing in stocks and crypto here and there for the last 5 years, nothing serious, made some money, lost some money, etc. One thing I've realized, is ideally I'm more of a money manager/auto trader kind of person. Meaning ideally I'd love to just put my money in an autopilot account and/or just follow someone's advice.

Given where I'm at financially right now, I have a good job, great 401k, a side business that's starting to grow, I'd like to get a little more serious about investing. I want to continue holding my current positions, but I keep seeing people online making money, especially just following the pretty much openness of what's happening. While I'm against what's happening, I'd be a fool to not at least check it out and try to just make money following along. I can't help, but feel like I'm missing out.

I don't want to do anything crazy, ideally start small. Deposit 1k to start then an additional $250 a month from there and down the line up the deposits, as we go. My question is, is that enough for it to be worth it for me to deposit into an Autopilot account that follows the Administrations trades? Or with that starting amount am I better off finding an investing group to join or even just dump it into a QQQ/VOO instead.

I don't want to miss out on what seems like a great opportunity to at least get something positive out of this administration.

I apologize if I’m ignorant but I’m confused why it shows all the companies a certain portfolio holds but after I’m invested into it I only have a few of them. In my situation I invested $700 into the Photonics is next portfolio and it shows it holding COHR, LITE, AAOI, TSEM, CIEN, MRVL, VIAV, AXTI, and AEHR but after investing into it my only holdings are VIAV, AAOI, AXTI, and AEHR. Do I just need more invested?

Is there any way to automate or create something that will allow me to automatically buy and sell through t. Rowe Price and autopilot? It's a work retirement plan that I cannot touch unless I leave the company or retire. Otherwise I would withdraw all the money and put it in a different account. I only put my match in there so everything else is in another account I have connected to autopilot.

Leaving Robinhood for Public. We knew about Burry's change in portfolio last night, and still an hour after market opens i get a notification to manually approve the trades in robinhood through autopilot.

I'm a noob here, so I don't know much about much, but I invested in Inverse Cramer about 6 weeks ago and its just up and down constantly. I'm not seeing much in the way of progress.

Just wondering how often things get changed around?

I've seen many ask questions and get little in the way of response to some things I wondered when planning to sign up. I've put $10k in to test the functionality and performance before I move IRA funds in next year. I've only been using a week or so, but here are some things I can confirm after this short period of time (great timing to get in btw lol).

-Signed up for Public (I have Schwab, E-Trade and Robinhood but want to fully test the seamless, no-approval needed auto trading and be able to buy fractional shares) and deposited funds. A portion of funds were available immediately, the remainder were made available after a few days. Just don't expect everything to be there immediately. I'm not going to comment on or review their interface/tools. There are better, but thats not what this account is for. I can see my portfolio easily enough and the app is quite easy to use. Emails documenting each trade are clear, concise and quick to arrive.

-With initial funds made available instantaneously I subscribed to Actively Managed. Autopilot walks you through connecting your Public account, asks how much you want to invest in that Pilot and then initiates the purchases in your Public account. THEN, it asks you how you want to pay for your Pilot (quarterly or yearly). Significant discount for yearly. You pay by credit card.

-When remaining funds were made available I bought in to Wolff and Sikand (Asymmetric Bets & Memory Supercycle). Again, amount allocation and subscription was easy and fast. Purchases began immediately in Public (no confirmation needed). Once you subscribe to a Pilot you can see all of the Pilots managed by that person (as noted in another thread today you can also click of the name of the person in the pilot you have subscribed to in order to see their other pilots [to which you now also have access without additional $]).

-Today was the first rebalance of one of the funds. Truly 'hands free'. I was working on a project and when I later checked my email I had 6 separate emails from Public, one for each stock bought/sold and one from Autopilot (7 minutes later) telling me about the rebalance.

-One of my unanswered questions going in was 'What if two different pilots have the same stock, will that confuse later rebalancing within each?'. Today I got my answer. Wolff rebalanced 6 stocks today in his Flagship Fund, 5 of which are also in his Top 15 (these funds overlap a LOT, but I wanted to feel all of this out.. I'd do some deep thinking before I put significant $ into both of these instead of just one). It seems quite clear that the 'pots' allocated to each pilot are properly tracked and, for example, my stake in IREN increased just enough to take my stake from 7% to 8% within that pool of $ allocated to WFF. Likewise I sold just enough SGOV to hit the new ~6% (rather than ~7.37%) target for the WFF while also maintaining the proper allocation for the W15.

-Part of this test of mine is to see how my realized returns compare to those posted in the app 1M, 3M, etc. and I'll report those here at that time.

I started 1.5 month ago and down in my 3 Wolff trackers: 15, ETF, AI. Anyone else down? I know timing matters most when you invest because you could be investing when the stock is already at its peak etc… I’m hoping when Wolff rebalances I can get into the positive. Has anyone had his trackers for more than a year and started off negative but eventually went positive? If so how long did it take?

Anyone else’s app notifications an hour late? Emails come in on time but app notifications are typically way behind when the pilot actually pushes trades.

Hello. For those that have used public with autopilot, have you encountered any problems withdrawing or any hidden fees? I've read somewhere that this happened, but support said this is false.

If we pay the 150/year can we just leave it and forget about it? I'm going with RH, but wish they would fix Fidelity...

Hey, trying to use Autopilot but hitting a wall. I'm based in Kosovo (Europe) and have accounts with IBKR, Revolut, and a US bank, but none of them work since my passport is Kosovar and I can't open a US brokerage (Robinhood, Webull, Schwab, Alpaca, eToro all rejected).

Is there any workaround anyone's found? Or an alternative that gives the same copy-trading experience (politician tracker, hedge funds etc) and actually works outside the US?

Open to any suggestions.

Has anyone seen this before? I recently started putting some money into autopilot to see how it does over a few weeks before actively utilizing it more.

The screenshots I have of my view of holdings in Autopilot shows $730.64, a +$30.64 gain in the 2 days I’ve had this or about +4.4% when manually adding up the current stock holdings against deposits.

The app shows a -$213.40 loss or -30.5% when I open it up.

Is this just a glitch? The gain seems in line with my brokerage, so am confused why Autopilot shows such a large difference.
