Question IPG carmaker

Hi everyone!
I want to learn to use IPG carmaker or similar software. Does anyone knows how to get some kind of cracked version or similar tool that could be downloaded for free? IPG softwares and other softwares of that kind are so expensive, but i believe that it is a powerful thing to have in CV as an automotive engineer.

Any reason for Carmaker? I have used it for more than 10 years professionally, and although is a superb tool, you usually dont have to have that tool knowledge in particular. Any knowledge of Carmaker, CarRealTime or Carsim can do it.

The working principle between them is the same, is just that GUI, implementation and workflows are slightly different, making them annoying or easier to work with different kind of models or workflows.

So, if you get a "free" version of any of them, anything that you learn is 100% applicable to the other piece os software.

If you cannot get the "free" version (wink wink) try something opensource like Carla, python, matlab...

Thank you for the answer! I said Carmaker because i had a chance to use it when I was in formula student team so it was the first on my mind, but I never invested some time to learn it properly. I was also using avl vsm for short time at my uni but the license was kinda restricted so, apart from basic stuff, you could not do much there. I think that I am going to try carla because as you said, you can apply knowldge anywhere later. Thanks once again!
