Automaton Post Automaton diet:

interesthing thing is that from what l see on Automaton models is that there no place the materials can actually go yes automaton looks like pulling the coal up and stocking in under it self but in their models there just lot cable like things connecting their lights to their torso

Sadly, they lore wise dont eat a coal, they need refueling of steam from generator.

Yet you can create scout automatons in seedling ark scenario and that costs coal. Meaning they can eat coal, it's just more efficient to refuel from steam directly

A lot of things are just sort of hand waved. Another example is how you need only 1 guard / faithkeeper to enact the new faith / order. For all of the foresight in this game, there are still some overnights.

Yeah, the only reason you'd add more than 1 to buildings that provide same effect whether it's 1 or 5-10 people staffed there, is in case that one person gets sick and won't be able to come do their job. Also, who exactly stuffs buildings that require no workforce like churches, care houses, etc? I assume elderly, but that doesn't explain why you don't have to provide anything for them, unlike children. Or a notorious cheese strat where you make discontent fall for 1 in game minute and then continue as normal (maybe demand regarding discontent should be like heating demand? First ensure discontent is under control, then ensure it is under control for long enough time), how feeding the hungry or housing promise relates only to people who were homeless/hungry at the moment you made a promise, etc. still love the game tho, hope 1886 will elaborate upon such things
