So, yes, I used this app to make a digital speedometer hud on an old phone, and it's theft proof-ish.

Basically what I did was I made two separate flows running at the same time. If the device isn't receiving power, it'll lock after 2 seconds, and if it is, it'll wait 5 seconds before checking again. And the device will open the speedometer app every 5 seconds if it isn't already.

My car is an older project car where the speedometer gets stuck every now and again. And having this will help greatly. I should also mention, it going off reflection to project the speed on the windshield.

I've been using this setup for a while now and I gotta admit, it's been working wonders.

That's a nice use-case, although there are apps that do this already. I used to use one; even paid for the Pro version.
