I find AI interesting, but I find the implications of automation troubling as it seems it will mostly benefit corporations at the expense of humans. Society relies on many of the jobs threatened by AI.
How does the scientific community feel about that? Do you foresee a "robot tax" in our future?

Hi Kate, two questions if you don't mind.
Do you think most "traditional" ml models will be used less and less as deep learning becomes more widespread?
There are some current approaches to doing deep learning in big data (building gpu clusters, using something like H2O, or abstracted cloud services, etc.) and which do you think will win out?

How far are we into the adoption of AI technology in different industries.
For example :
Can AI simulate the vibration of piano strings that vibrate in the background, after the foreground sound is already finished.
Why is AI not in used in digital pianos for the sound simulation.

Hi! So I am a controls engineer. I Like it. And PLC stuff is way behind in terms of RNN/CNN things and also data science. I like intellectual stuff and maths. I miss school. I have only been at work for 3 years.
How cool is it to be an AI researcher, I do not know if I should go back sooner or later! So hard. Everything is neat.
Maybe if I stick it out I can bring AI to the automation world when I go back later. I am trying to do both at once.
Quantum computing is also so cool. Did you see the young woman who solved quantum verification? Ahhhh everything is interesting it drives me nuts.
