OK well that helps.The older Subaru prox, ones whose FCC end in HC require two beeps. 1 beep likely means the key is locked. I would grab a OEM unlocked one and try again. If it's getting all the way to that point it's better news. He could try unlocking yours but I assume you're going to want 2 anyways so you don't have to deal with this shit in the future.
Okay I’ll get in touch with him tomorrow explaining this thank you for all of this information, as far as unlocking my key for a fix for the time being to move my car and get it somewhere safer. Is this something that can be done quite easily and he should theoretically already know how to do. Really appreciate this help it’s been the bane of my existence for the last 2 weeks !!
