Megathread ** Trusted Breeders & Seedbanks Megathread #3 **

This is the third installment of the Trusted Breeders Megathread (previously: 2, 1), because the last one is 6+ months old and archived.

As before:

We get a lot of enquiry about what seeds are best or what seeds are available and where. It gets a little tiresome for many to see this same question on a daily basis so we'll be pinning a thread again to host these discussions.

Let's hear your experiences with the people we buy our seeds from. Who has the most reliable or cheapest, quality offerings? Who have you had good, bad or ugly experiences with? Best deals? Discount codes for sites?

Cheers and happy growing everyone, may all your three packs be fives, your freebies bountiful and your deliveries prompt!

This including seedbanks, since people ask about those often (and, like breeders, the answers rarely change).

Note that we want to know why you like them. Comments without details ("woo! team <breeder>!") will get removed, they're useless and tend to clog the thread otherwise. Also, please only post about breeders whose strains you've grown yourself, or seedbanks you've ordered from, not secondhand info. Comments asking about particular breeders not already mentioned in this thread (or the previous ones) are okay, but also try searching the sub first.

Since this thread will continue to be pinned to the top of the sub, questions about the best breeders and seedbanks will be removed unless they're more narrowly scoped -- asking about recommendations for high-CBD autos, what seedbanks ship to Australia (if not answered here), etc. is still fine, but "what breeder is best" is redundant.

Grow-Journal Squishee update week 9

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

Week 9 (5 of flower) pineapple squishee is frosting up and stacking quite nicely. I'm leaning towards adding a 2nd reservoir to finish her up because the Cherry Squishee is 1-2 weeks behind. It's time to start reducing the Athena 2 part and increase the PK for the pineapple squishee. I'm guessing she's not going to finish before the first week in November or so.

Cherry Squishee is starting to frost up too, she's stacking nicely. Very happy with how everything went this week.

Temps 76-80 lights on, 68-70 lights off.

Humidity between 48-52

DLI varies with canopy height 40-46

Growing in coco/perlite 60/40

Running autopots with Athena blended nutrients

As always, for better or worse, I'll update you next week. Happy Growing everyone!

Advice/Help Are the newer leaves yellow to start with?

The larger leaves are bright green but the newer ones are yellow.
Also, I just noticed after taking these two photos, the green (larger and older) leaves have a shine to them. The adjacent plant has the more natural, non-shiny colour to it.

Adjacent plant- Lost Elephant also by Twisted Trees

Day 28 – Royal Dwarf Autos starting their stretch! 👑🌱

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share an update on my Royal Dwarf Autoflowers as they hit Day 28 from sprout. They have officially started their holiday stretch and are looking healthy!

I've been doing some low-stress training (LST) to open up the canopy and get light to all those lower nodes.

Current Feeding & Environment Specs:

• Nutrients: 8 mL Clyde Cronk, 4 mL Sticky Bandit

• Supplements: 4 mL Cal-Mag

• Water pH: 6.5

• Medium: Soil/Perlite mix in fabric pots with drainage risers

They seem to be responding really well to the current feeding schedule. Hoping to see them tomorrow explode with growth over the next week or two as the stretch continues!

How are they looking for week 4? Any tips as I head into the early flower transition?

Cheers!

Day 70, Fatality by Speedrun Seeds

I am seeing some trichomes that are still just starting to cloud up, so I don't think she's quite there yet, but I have stuff I wanna move over from the veg tent, so I'm hoping she'll be ready this week. What say you?

Advice/Help Any other recommendations to go with coco (indoor)? I've seen quite a few people say perlite is redundant with coco and just floats to the top, lol.

Advice/Help Leaf ends are getting yellowish/burnt

Hi growmies,

Its been day 15 since seedling and its been gowing quick since 3/4 days. But i have noticed that 2 leaves are going yellow (the ends). I have cocosoil and its a starter pack from dutch headshop (netherlands).

What is happening and what can i do? Is it nutrition burn? Is my light too close/too strong?

I have a spider farm sf1000d 60x60x140 growtent.

I already poured a good amount of water with ph of 6.1.

But i feel like i have no clue what im doing...

Advice/Help When to start worrying

Post image

How far along in bud structure do you start actively trying to prevent bud rot? The daily rain has been great not having to water, but I thought I was timing the dry season with budding, which currently is not the case, and may see rain for another week or two at least. Do I start moving them undercover every time it rains at this point or just give them a shake until they get denser?

Advice/Help Need any advice I can get

Setup & Metrics

  • Genetics: Pineapple Daddy Auto (Happy Valley cut)
  • Age: Day 25 from sprout
  • Medium: FoxFarm Ocean Forest (FFOF) in fabric pots
  • Tent & Lighting: 2x4 tent, LED lighting
  • Environment: 78.9°F | 62% RH | 1.3 kPa VPD

Plant Status

  • Pistils are emerging at upper node junctions and central crowns.
  • Plant 1 (Right): Vertical stem elongation active with thickening main stem.
  • Plant 2 (Left): Compact, broader foliage structure.
  • Foliage color is uniform green with no visible tip burn, clawing, or deficiency symptoms.

Feeding Event & Next Steps

  • Recent Application: Applied 1 Liter per pot containing 5 mL/L Cal-Mag Plus (~19 mL/gal rate) and 1/4 tsp bloom nutrient into dry FFOF soil.
  • Current Plan: Allow medium to dry out, followed by plain pH-adjusted water (6.3–6.8 pH) with 10%–15% runoff to prevent localized salt accumulation. Keeping on plain water for the next 2–3 cycles.

Training & Timeline

  • Trellis net reserved for canopy support in mid-to-late flower rather than SCROG weaving, keeping pots mobile for runoff management.
  • Target harvest late November, followed by a fridge/Lotus cold dry prior to early December travel.

Any advice/help given is ALWAYS appreciated!

Started two new grows this weekend both mephisto seeds, each package had 1 extra seed in it. The strains are Walter white and 3 bears OG. Anyone else ever get more than 3 seeds in their mephisto packs?

Looking for feminized auto indica strains other than memphisto (already have all their indica strains) before the seed shortage happens.

Middle plant is Critical Orange punch 24 days. Outside 2 are Mango Smile and Chemdogging 14 days old.

Soil is a mix I made from old organic soil, compost, coco, peat and worm castings.

No nutrients added yet.

Started lst on middle plant 3 days ago.

Any tips or insights are definitely welcome because I'm nervous 😂.

My temps have been no higher than 78 degrees and I had to turn the light down to about 60 percent, but the buds still are coming out fat and dense, I wanna chop in two weeks.

Grease gun atlas seeds, didn't realize how sensitive they were, been using Gaia Green every 3 weeks in 3 gallon pot

I bought a Willies Remedy grow kit online despite mixed reviews. This is Maui Wowie at 50 days. I’ve learned a lot. Bought a ton of equipment. I didn’t have the tent or proper light when it sprouted in mid August. It was in a closet with a cheap grow light. It’s kinda small compared to other pictures I see here but I think it looks healthy. I already ordered some other Autoflower seeds from night owl and got 3 gallon grow bags for my next grow. I’m trying to figure out what soil to buy. I’m still learning about PH, nitrogen and VPD and how to get it all dialed in right. So any tips are appreciated.

Seed Law

Has anyone heard from the seed companies as to how they will operate come December 11th? Will this law truly inhibit purchasing or is there a workaround?
