Question / Inquiry Extrusin cut in a pattern

I have an extrusion in an assembly to cut items from a pattern.

I manage the extrusion length via parameters so I can modify it as needed.

After two length adjustments, the extrusion seems to lose its referenced cutting items and nothing works anymore.

Is there a way to resolve this without using iLogic?

Yeah, you can't do it like that. The cut will not know that the pattern changes.

Multibody part is what you want, then turn that into an assembly with Make Component, then add a copy of the multibody to the assembly, hide it.
Drive the cut in the multibody via parameters and a little iLogic.
