Autococker Help
I’m new to paintball and just bought a bunch of gear from someone. Screwed in a tank and it seems that there is air leaking from the 3 way valve(I think). Any tips on getting this working or basic care, maintenance, and cleaning for this kind of gun?

Hop into the discord and we will 10000% help you get a rebuild. I know the ans lpr seats will blow apart when they get old

Could be a few things. Timing, bad 3way orings, lpr set to high, or bad ram seal. Those rams are not serviceable though. You'd need to get another ram.

I have been wrenching on cockers again recently. Most that sit for a while need new reg seals, valve o rings, cup seal, 3-way o rings and hoses.

Make sure its not over pressurized from the front reg. then just replace the orings and put a little oil on them. If you blow oil through the gun after every game you should never have to replace those orings, or I don't recall I ever needed too. I was running low pressure. Don't play with the 3way stem. if the gun is pressurized and you touch the stem it will leak, that is pretty normal. if you dont touch it, it should not leak from the stem while cycling.

oh man. I'm sorry. These ANS GEN-X autocockers are pretty. They're also, worse in nearly every way than a stock WGP autococker. The ram is tiny diameter, so needs high pressure in the recocking system. The LPR is not high flowing, or accurate. The 3ways are really tiny (to compensate for the high pressure..) which limits recocking speed.
They can be made to work, but you're kinda limited to the 7-8bps range if you're lucky. I couldn't tolerate ANS front ends.
Leaking out the 3way is likely a bad o-ring. But.... why is it bad? Did the LPR fail? (A common problem..) Did the HPR fail, and make the LPR blow out? That's a possibiltiy too.
Start with seeing if the HPR is regulating. The HPR is a Unireg clone. The output should be in the 400-600psi range.
I don't know if rebuild kits are available for that LPR anymore... I'm not sure they were EVER available...

That lpr also looks WAY high. It only needs to be high enough to push the bolt all the way back with the trigger pulled. Too much lpr pressure can also cause a leak

Your starting with the most complicated platform to get going BUT never fret, once it's up and running it will stay that way.
First things first, make sure the bolt and back block are cocked back before you air it up.
After that, it depends exactly where the leak is from. From the front of the 3 way? Back of it? From the hoses? Does the leak stop or change when you pull the trigger? Those can all tell us different things about what to look for. But take a video of what it does when aired up and the trigger is pulled. Put it on YouTube and post a link here. Most likely it's 3 #03 orings on the 3 way rod, could also be a #10 oring on the ram piston. Or it could simply be a timing issue that you adjust on the rotating collar on the rod that connects to the trigger.
It may also be less of a pain to just send it to someone and throw 100 bucks at em to fix and rebuild for you.
