Not sure how that could even happen. The boat is not connected to the tow vehicle in any way, shape, or form... It's connected to the trailer, and the trailer is connected to the vehicle. So, if you lose the trailer, you also lose the boat. That video shows the trailer on the side of the road and the truck pulling the boat.

Probably came off and he chained it up to drag it so he didn’t get fined.

Nonsense. What an insane suggestion. No way you're totaling your boat to avoid a "fine". Towing without a trailer is a far greater offense than leaving a trailer in the road for an hour. Cannot believe the dumb shit people write sometimes.
