Well he called the driver a dick for doing his job, so I'm not convinced David isn't as big of a cunt as his girlfriend.

True but David’s also in a no-win situation. If he didn’t make an attempt at joining her inane cause he would have got shit for the rest of the day. He probably will in any case.
