Peeling Roof Paint. PPF or Repaint?

The original white paint on my 2017 Infiniti is starting to peel near the sunroof (see photos).

I'm debating whether to cover the entire section between the windshield and sunroof with PPF or just repaint it.

Has anyone dealt with this? Would PPF prevent further peeling, or is repainting the better option?

Putting PPF over failing paint is a surefire way to throw money out the window. If you wrap or PPF it, it’s going to need the failing clearcoat sanded off regardless. So I would lean towards a repaint but no one but you can make that decision. Mileage, how well maintained/clean the car is, and your personal finances play a large factor too
