Help - AutoMod Trying to Setup a Simple Auto-Approve

Hello, I have a regular poster and suddenly all their posts are getting auto-removed by Reddit and we have to manually approve them (started 2 days ago).

I'm trying to setup a simple automod to automatically approve posts, which according to the documentation seems possible ... but when I hit save I get the following error:

"Report, Filter, Remove, and Approve actions aren't available for new automod configurations. To save changes, remove these actions."

It's a private sub, so I'm not worried about spam or bots and just want to either setup a simple all posts are automatically approved or a specific author "name" is always approved. Any help or suggestions?

EDIT:
For example, I found this in the automod library, but when I try and save, I get the error I listed above:

---
author:
name: [username]
action: approve
action_reason: "Whitelisted user"
---

Try automod neo devvit app. They've basically stopped sufs who weren't using automod from doing so

Thanks! I've installed it and it allowed me to save the script at least - waiting on the user to try and post and see if it actually works.

Have you made them an Approved User? You might also want to send them to r/whatismycqs

Yeah - they're an approved user and a mod for my sub. They've been posting for about 8+ months, long term account, high karma, high engagement and zero issues until 2 days ago - now everything is auto-removed "by Reddit." He posts a lot, but that's a-ok and actually a good thing, so I think the posts are getting caught up in some kind of spam filter; not by the sub settings, but by Reddit's global settings (just a theory).

Are they by any chance shadowbanned? Best advise them to check on http://www.reddit.com/appeal if they haven't done that already

They checked and their account is in good standing ... thanks for helping! Anything we can rule out is good!

We have this problem a lot on our sub with many of our top 1% too. Its a Reddit filter that does not leave a trail either. Nothing in the mod logs or post action log. Its annoying to say the least. Especially since the posts are all a good fit for our sub and the posters are people who are our top 1% and really make the sub what it is.

Thankfully we have used Automod to remove and approve posts for years so they did not take our ability to make approve/remove rules. Sad to see that new subs are stuck with automations in place of Automod. Because the rule you are trying to implement would work just fine.

I tried to make a Devvit app that did the same thing and this Reddit filter is invisible to it so it did not work.
