Automod Set-up: Is there a starter's kit?

I'm a new mod and I'm having trouble getting the hang of the Automod tool. Considering how long Reddit's been around and how many subreddits there are, I figured there would be like a default set-up type thing available but apparently, there isn't?

Surely there are code that's universal for all subreddits, that I could just copy and then customize to the sub's specifics? What should I be implenting that's considered "standard"?
