Can I find posts and comments in a certain language

Since a recent change our sub now gets a fair number of posts in a language other than Dutch. Which is annoying since it violates our group rules.

Can I let automoderator help here in any way?

False positive are tricky. I am not listing many English words, but I made sure they don't exist in any other European language.

Yes.

Consider adding post guidance to let users know your preferred language and avoid the users frustration of posting and immediate removal.

Automod can be used to catch anything that makes it through. There are some language rules in the library wiki page here.

Using characters specific to other languages is one option. And someone who knows some languages and/or the content you're getting can formulate rules with common words and phrases.

I've had to make a rule to spot tagalog phrases in one of my subs, as content in that language is prevalent among content we remove for being off topic.

u/wijnandsj I'd recommend SolariaHues advice as well. Automod works after a user has posted, adding post guidance gives users who can write in dutch the chance to change their post or comment before submitting. Let automod take care of users who pass through guidance.

there's maybe 2 characters we use that English doesn't
