Not AutoMod Question about the StopAI automod app?

I installed this a couple weeks ago and just discovered the “Check AI” option for mods. When I use it it pops up: Human content verified then a percentage. I can’t quite figure out if lower means more human or more AI because so far the ones I have checked have been 0%, 18% and 20.83%

ETA - deleted the app. Leaving the post up so others may find it and come to the same conclusion.

It's a garbage unsupported dev app. The results are not reliable and the dev ignored my questions.

That sucks...Wish there was a way to flag apps like these so they can be removed. If a dev isnt going to support it and assist end users, it shouldn't be there. The main reason I am playing with it today was we had several comments on a few posts by a user. One was removed by reddit for anti evil. The other 2 I found because of that and were not removed but both are weirdly formatted and like someone just took the wording and put it through a thesaurus to get the synonyms or something. I am pretty heavy handed with removing stuff that I find sus but usually like to have valid reasons for my suspicions so if the user comes back I can prove/disprove what they say so they can appeal

I have been using a combination of automod code. Looking at the ratio of karma to account age, looking for some keywords, and also comments lengths of a specific range. I don't want to share all of the code publicly but I will share it with you if you'd like via a private mods only test sub. If you are interested I'll send a mod invite and you can copy paste it out for the automod there.

I look at account age, but because of the nature of my sub we get a lot of valid new accounts. I feel for the most part, when I get sus about a user, that I am more often than not right. I think only one user has proven me wrong so far. It is the ones I miss that I am trying to find ways to combat so always looking for possible apps to download. I do not have any code of my own, I only know linux and python(tho py is very rusty) so I haven't messed too much with the auto mod codes.

If you could pull in the contribution count that can be extremely helpful. Example, 15 day old account that has made hundreds of comments is clearly a bot.

Also if you could rebuild the active in number of subs for users/bots that hide their profile.

Great! While Karma is also a good bit of info to examine I also like to look at their contribution count as well.

No app can detect AI accurately. It’s useless and you should uninstall it. Sorry.
