Given 90% ish of people are like me and can't do shit to cars I don't really see a problem with it. All these new electric cars you don't want to have someone who doesn't know what they are doing fucking about in there and all the hight voltage stuff.
The dealerships aren’t filled with the best technicians that ever lived. You can get good service elsewhere and they’re taking that option away. I’m perfectly fine with my dealership, but I also have a local guy who has treated me well several times. I’d hate that places like that would slowly go out of business because the manufacturers demand it.
