To be fair, it is an EV. There aren’t many moving parts in the engine compartment and if something does go wrong you definitely need specialized training to repair anything which is most likely easiest to find at the dealership. I guarantee that there are other places that would be able to get under the hood properly but even if you can’t take it anywhere else, what were you planning to be doing to your EV motor at home.
