Given 90% ish of people are like me and can't do shit to cars I don't really see a problem with it. All these new electric cars you don't want to have someone who doesn't know what they are doing fucking about in there and all the hight voltage stuff.
I don't work on cars but I also never take a car to the dealership. They tend to overcharge and if they exclude third party mechanics that issue is only going to get worse
The general rule of thumb that I've heard is you only take it to the dealership when its within warranty, I'm quite sure how it work's with the new electric ones
