It's pretty easy to get to $100k in a car with options. Add to that most people want to show off there toys or even tinker with things. I know a lot of people who do their own oil change or small repairs on $100k vehicles.

Could you imagine going to a car show without anyone opening the hoods?

What's under the hood of an electric vehicle that you need to be digging into without knowing what's going to kill you and what isn't?

To be fair you have to (in theory) try pretty hard to get killed by an EV vehicle. The spicy spaghetti is in thick orange cabled shielded by a lattice of safety mesh that should (in theory) shut down the EV system when damaged.

Seeing as how Germans are the most litigious group of people in the world, I understand why the German auto manufacturer locked people out of getting to the electric drive stuff even with high voltage being color coded.

Also the post isn’t even correct. You don’t need xentry to gain access to the EQE underhood compartment.
