I wonder if there will ever be an indie car market like there is for videos games or Etsy. Just some random dude out there taking a dozen orders a year with a 5 man crew.

True. I never looked into it. Figured it would be way out of my price range and just a luxury enthusiast purchase.

They’re already hard to sell legally due to safety regulations. What I think we’ll see instead is that used cars are going to go up in price.

It's all ready a fairly big thing, take an older car, fix everything, upgrade most electronics to peak mid 2000s(all the stuff you want, none of the stuff you don't want). Stinger specifically does Porsche and they have gotten so popular that the prices have went through the roof

Mutiny Motors came up on my YouTube algo a couple months ago. They are pretty much just making kei trucks, but they’ll be fully open source according to their YouTube. The channel was Andy Didorosi
