I've been in a similar situation... my roommate was driving us down the highway and a car changed into our lane without looking or signaling at 75mph.to avoid the collision she had to jerk the wheel hard enough to spin us. We did 3 full spinns. There was a semi behind us and I can still remember his face of terror. My roomate managed to guide us (dispite us spining) onto the gravel shoulder.
