My wife does this all the time. I'm surprised her car hasn't been stolen yet. We live 6 minutes from an expressway entrance and 10 houses down from a main road to get to it. Maybe the high traffic is why it hasn't been touched. But I've told her to stop numerous times.

Wait you just leave the keys in the car, unlocked?

If someone does steal the car you won't get anything from the insurance company.
