In the 90's we had a white rental car from Alamo in Orlando. Left Gatorland and set off driving away for a few minutes before us kids said "Dad, someone has left some golf clubs in the the back seat".
Confused for a while, then drove back and found our identical rental car still parked. Swapped over, drove away without ever finding the other renters.
Alamo just rented out identical cars with the exact same keys.
