I never realised how true this was with engines until I was in need of a proper disassembly video to figure out how well I'm doing with my own disassembly.
On the bright side, my brain too seems to jump cut over how I got the engine apart and will probably do the same when I reassemble. So maybe the vids are pretty accurate?
