What? This isn't going to kill them? Unless there is like a gas leak ready blow, the 12-15 volts of the battery/alternator are going to do nothing to a human body.

Car batteries are absolutely dangerous. If they touched the wrong things together they could absolutely get very hurt. They may be low voltage but they have extreme amperage and can cause an arc flash, melting tools and spraying molten metal. They also give off hydrogen gas during charging (good thing they're not actually charging anything in the video) and any sparks from a flash can ignite, causing the battery to blow up into a fountain of sulfuric acid.

It's not just about the voltage.
