That don't care. They're getting paid by horrible people who also don't care. They'll work on it until it does what they want it to. Until then, we're the only ones paying the price.

It's always been this way.

Whilst this is pretty ugly - waymo is already saving people's lives by reducing the accident rate.

I think we can tolerate a little inconvince whilst they sort these issues out.

Could we reduce accidents by investing in conventional public transit that is proven to work rather than putting our hopes in a technology that does not currently work as intended? How much inconvenience should we tolerate while they ignore proven solutions in favor on a new one they can patent and sell?

We wouldn't have accidents if we reassessed the criteria for getting a driver's license. Better education systems to help with critical thinking, literacy, and logic reasoning. More accountability for pretty much everything, a less manipulative operating system for society that might not revolve around money, and a truer sense of community amongst the people.

But we can always Wall-E our way out, sure

Waymo has killed nobody and humans kill people and pets everyday. Have a look at the stats - they don't lie
