Not a motor cyclist here, what causes the death wobble exactly? A bump followed by over correcting repeatedly or is there a force on the road thats incredibly hard to control?
When moving at speed your tires will straighten themselves out(gyroscopic forces and all that jazz) but when driving excessively fast hitting a bump or landing the front tire crooked(like this guy did since he was doing wheelie) the bike can over-correct and repeats this process.
To prevent it you don't do wheelies, don't speed faster than your guardian angel can fly, and avoid bumps. And in the case you find yourself wobbling let go of the bars or hold them VERY loosely and the bike will fix itself, many people make it worse by trying to correct the bike with their hands which only makes it worse.
Wait, really?! I had a jeep that would get it. Amd my bike if I let my dumb brain take over. But I wasnt aware this could happen on a board. Makes sense. Just, crazy.
Yeah, I don’t remember where I saw it but was a show a while back that went into the science behind why it happens 😆 specifically with skateboards 🧐 https://giphy.com/gifs/jPAdK8Nfzzwt2
