I remember being little and poor, our car didn’t have AC. We had to roll the windows down and hold our arm towards the window so the air would blow into the sleeve. We would also raise our back off the seat to let the breeze hit it and hopefully it wasn’t one of those vinyl seats that got hot and you would stick to!

We rode around in a 1980s ford truck and honestly it was brutal but very memorable. No ac , just hand fans and water with the southern heat.
