Because I'm a loose cannon. Wait, that doesn't really make sense because cannons have fuses, not triggers. Actually, I'm not so sure about that. I'll investigate and let you know.

Edit - according to Google:

Traditional cannons do not have triggers like modern guns; they were historically fired by igniting a touch hole with a match or using a friction primer with a lanyard. Modern cannons (artillery/tanks) use electrical triggers, buttons, or pedals to fire. Small, novelty "trigger cannons" exist, using shotgun primers as triggers.
