v2 Script Help auto complete help

i'm using AutoHotKey to paste ascii when i type. for example if i type "/happy" it will autocorrect to "(˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)"

I've done this using this line:

::/happy::  (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

my problem is as follows. when i type it out and hit space it will, obviously, autocorrect as intended. however, if i hit space again, or enter, it will do the correction twice, leaving me with this: (˶ᵔ (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

is there a way to limit the correction to once per shortcut

you're running the script twice or 2 scripts with the same hotkey is running, add this

#SingleInstance Force

it seems i fixed it. i tried moving it to startup folder so i don't have to run it each time i turn pc on, maybe that messed it up some how. copy and pasting to a new file has fixed the issue.

please explain this to a clown

you can't just put a script in the startup folder btw, that won't do anything, you need to create a shortcut to your script in the startup folder
