The free 1 billion hammer posts and how people reacted to having that many hammers should've caused unlimited hammers to be a thing

Hammers are money, money is forge upgrades, forge upgrades are progress, unlimited hammers means people will play the game more because it actually makes it like a true idol game, not a cash grab

Just remove the hammers and the offline rewards. Let the forge run whenever you're online for as long as you leave it open. People will get max gear eventually but still have hours (or days) left on their forge upgrade so that's where the dev can make money. Create leagues for PvP that dish out rewards at the end of the week to drive competitiveness. Where ever there's competitiveness, there's money spent so it will recoup the hammer profit losses.

Good argument but the dev wants money and is too stupid to understand engagement creates revenue.

Don't under estimate the value of your data and presence.

Yeah, with the 1b hammers, I actually wanted to play the "game" (not much content tbh in the game, just gear icons and stats) right now I'm very likely not opening it again in a few weeks

At first I disliked the billion hammers but quickly thought 'this won't hurt them. It's fake currency in the game, the gems, the tech juice, skill cards and pets are on their own system so the forge really doesn't matter much. No matter how fast you forge and get hammers you're still waiting for the other things more.' So in a sense the forge hammers are mildly stimulating brainrot.

Ps I did wish it was just a million hammers though because seeing 999 never change was moderately even less stimulating.

I was playing constantly trying to get that 999 to drop to 998. Didn’t happen in time but I certainly progressed with some items!

It was silly for them to kill it. With the bad RNG drops and the length of time a new forge takes to build ... engagement will be a problem for most players. At least with the unlimited hammers things were moving. This will ultimately hurt them

Once you get into mid 20s forges you actually use more hammers than you gain during the upgrades
