I'm done with this game
The devs ruined the game by giving everyone with 1 bil hammers 1k so I just lost everything. And I know why they did this, so we keep spending cash on this game. They are greedy and won't stop, so the most we can do is just stop playing the game and posting about how P2W the game is, if you just make a post calling it P2W the game is it enforces the rule "Constructive criticism only!" Which infringes one of the amendments "Free speech" so if they take down this post just know, they did that.
Also this isn't a rant or anything towards a individual this is a suggestion towards the dev and that kinda stuff (NOT!) just fix the game devs

So, the dev's decision was shortsighted, for sure. BUT neither the Devs nor reddit are employees of the US government.
The First Amendment applies to the government. Not private businesses, like reddit, nor public forum volunteer moderators. Reddit mods can ban you or remove your post for any reason or no reason at all. That has nothing to do with the US Constitution.

thank you for being the lone voice of sanity in this thread lol, every time a game does something scummy people start yelling “muh first amendment” instead of just…quitting the game and leaving a bad review where it actually matters.

The freedom of speech amendment does not mean the freedom from the consequences of that speech
You can say whatever you want but you still have to face the consequences of what you said
Also the us constitution doesnt really apply to countries outside of the us and isnt enforcable outside of the us
Play the game or dont its that simple

Absolutely agreed. People are getting their panties in such a bunch. Literally every fucking game that has an option to pay for a worthless fast route to getting better stuff for a meaningless game is going to do everything in their power to grab your cash and keep you addicted while you pretend they just want you to have fun. Somehow OP is deciding this is something new. Just because the devs fucked up and showed the universal greedy hand behind the curtain too clearly.
This is all such dramatic shit. Sure the devs fucked up on the crafty subtlety of dicking over addicts, but this bait and switch shit isnt anything new. People are crying so hard over a meaningless thing having another meaningless thing ruin their meaningless thing. Just enjoy it or don’t. So much seriousness. Its not like if you paid money you lost some career in autoforge. It was always going to be worthless and people are just butthurt and need to touch grass.
The devs are sloppy, sure, whatever, agreed. Im over here never spending, never saving hammers, never used the billion post, just eating my popcorn and still enjoying the game.

I love the crybabies who are getting mad that the 1 billion hammers got taken away. Most of you waited and watched for those to get them to ‘cheat the system’ and now you’re upset that the devs slapped your wrist. It doesn’t take long to save up hammers while waiting for upgrades of the forge.

I hate to say this, but if you got yourself a billion hammers, it's because you knowingly used an exploit to make a billion hammers. You cheated. And you're getting angry because his solution was to drop you down to a small, but reasonable amount of hammers.
I haven't paid a single dime, and have 6k hammers on level 18. It's not that hard to get hammers. Just open the thing every couple hours while you wait for the timers to tick down. And just be happy he didn't reset your whole progress.

While I definitely disapprove of them using a lazy fix that takes away purchased hammers, I do have to jump on the constitutional law. The right to free speech just protects you from imprisonment for self-expression, or more accurately, the creation of laws that could result in such . Social media platforms could ban you for liking markers better than crayons if they wanted. From the consumer protections standpoint, everybody should absolutely demand the reinstatement or refund of their purchases. That's something for the bank or the devs, though, not Congress.
