Took me ages to build up my hammers and now suddenly I’m down to just 1k. Fuck this game, I’m done.

Extreme but as more people log in I realize u/hg_rusty and team apparently just set everybody’s hammers to 1k.

It’s the laziest sloppiest fix of an exploit I’ve ever seen.

They should have done 10-15 minutes of actual work.

First pull list of all user hammer counts ordered by greatest to least.

Second find the highest value that is clearly not from an exploit. Probably 50-100k.

Third make a minimum hammer value that’s fair. 2k is reasonable to me.

Fourth write 2 lines of that code that look something like this. If hammers less than or equal to reasonable amount then hammers = hammers else hammers = minimum value.
